This info session on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) in Horizon Europe is organised by the National Contact Points (NCPs) for MSCA in Belgium (NCP Federal BE, NCP-FNRS, NCP Flanders) to inform future potential applicants and host institutions coming from both the academic and non-academic sector on the different actions and calls for proposals under MSCA.
The MSCA has the aim to create an excellent research base in Europe by offering research and training grants to equip researchers with new knowledge, skills, international as well as inter-sectoral experience. It is open to any research domain and researchers with any nationality. Research and training grants can be applied for through five actions, in short:
- Doctoral Training Networks aimed at PhD students;
- Postdoctoral Fellowships aimed at postdoctoral researchers;
- Staff Exchanges for any type of research staff;
- Co-funded (inter)national and regional training programmes aimed at (post)doctoral researchers;
- and public outreach events which aim to bring research and researchers closer to the general public.
During this information session, an overview of the different actions and calls for proposals will be provided and opportunities for business-academia collaboration will be highlighted.
Due to the measures with regard to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, this info session is completely virtual. Participation to this webinar is free and open to any researcher in any career stage wishing to apply with a Belgian host institution or any staff member of a Belgian host institution (both from the academic and non-academic sector). Registration is mandatory and open until the 12th of March. You have the possibility to write any question you might have at this stage in the registration form. Please take this opportunity, as all the questions raised beforehand will be addressed in the relevant presentations. There will be time for Questions and Answers after each presentation by chat, however, more questions will probably be answered in the timeframe of the webinar if most of the questions have already been raised in advance.”.
In case you would have any question, please do not hesitate to contact one of the organisers:
